Picture

Starby, a chi/dachshund mix, and her 5 babies were pulled from a very high kill shelter in south TX.  The babies will be vaccinated once they turn 8 weeks old.   Puppies will receive two puppies vaccines before they make their way to Michigan to their foster.  Momma will stay behind until she's fully vetted.

Diesel is a one year old Frenchie.  We just received Diesel into our rescue, 8/21/23.  Diesel has since received all of his vaccines, is chipped and neutered.  Diesel will be making his trip to San Antonio soon to find his forever home.

Darla came into our rescue in March 2023.  She was rescued along with her 9 puppies who have since left the RGV and have been adopted.  Darla stayed behind because she tested positive for heartworms but has since been treated.  Darla is in search of her forever home.

Six year old momma doxie and her 7 week old baby were rescued from a neglectful owner in La Feria, TX 8/22/23.  The owners had two additional puppies from momma but initially refused to surrender them.  A week later, they were finally surrendered and are in foster care.  Momma has since been spayed but is currently in treatment for heartworms and two tick diseases.  Puppies will be available for adoption in a few weeks.

Ricky was pulled from a local shelter in March 2023.  He is very shy and needs a special adopter.  He has been with a wonderful foster in Harlingen, TX who is helping him get out of his shell.  He is fully vaccinated, chipped and neutered.   He is a chi mix and weighs about 10 lbs and is 2 years old.He is ready for his forever family.

Little Jax is a chi that was pulled from a high kill shelter in Mission, TX in April of 2022.  Jax is not your typical dog.  We don't know what happened to him before he ended up at the shelter but he is terrified of people.  Jax would do best in a quiet home, with not much traffic.  We believe he would do best with an older or retired couple.  He is literally afraid of his own shadow.  He does not have a mean bone in his body though.  We do have Jax on medication to help ease his nerves.  He is fully vaccinated, chipped and neutered.  Jax is being fostered in Harlingen, TX.

This is Junior.  Junior is a rat terrier that was rescued from a dumping ground in Rio Grande City, TX in January 2023.  Junior is fully vaccinated, chipped and neutered.  Junior needs a family with patience and no children.  He is very loyal once he gets to know you but it will take time for that to happen.  He isn't very friendly with new dogs BUT does good with them once he feels comfortable.  He currently lives with 7 other dogs.  He weighs about 20 lbs and is in search of his forever home.
